[Private] It's a very strange experience talking to people you know are dead whose funerals you attended.

I'm going to say something I never thought I would say. ... ... I'm sick of reading. It's depressing.

This world which though it is the same world as the one I grew up in, in a physical sense, is very different to anything I've ever known. Everything seems very strange and though I hate to admit it I can't say I fully understand everything that has happened -even though I have tried to read as many history books as I can lay my hands on. It just seems surreal that a thousand years has gone by and the world has become so, so, bland. Every other time a thousand years has passed in history something exciting, interesting happened. This one just seems nonsensical.
I remember Muggles experimenting with their Komputers -I believe I spelt it correctly but I may be wrong- but they were massive affairs, now they talk about them being smaller than a grain of rice? I understand that time, as all things, moves forward but... Moreover, why close Hogwarts and the other Wizarding schools, children need to be taught; otherwise you end up with adults doing random uncontrolled magic. I think my brain may explode again if I read any more on this and still be no closer to understanding everything.
current mood: contemplative
